Charlotte Rastas, MD
Charlotte Rastas is a primary care provider at Cambridge Health Alliance and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at CHA in 2021. Charlotte also completed a Masters of Science in Medical Anthropology at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and was a chief medical resident at CHA from 2021-2022. Charlotte’s particular areas of interest include climate change and how the loss of biodiversity and global warming will disproportionately impact vulnerable and underserved communities. Her background in anthropology has driven her interest in social determinants of health and helped informed how she practices medicine. Charlotte completed the Social Medicine and Research Based Advocacy course during her residency and is excited to now rejoin the course as a faculty member.
